From the late 1980's to 2005 I was the school psychologist at Shafter High
School, so I had to drive along the country way through the almond groves at
least once weekly to get there from Bakersfield. In early Spring it was
gorgeous with blossoms; but I would rarely stop to admire it. One day I took
some pictures on the way home so I could remember the drive "forever". I'm
glad I did this picture as this is the only visual memory I have of that trek now
in 2011.
